Ericka Ramirez

Ericka graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. Mary’s University with a B.A. in Political Science in 2006 and obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Mary’s School of Law in 2009. While studying to earn her law degree, Ericka served as a Teaching Assistant to Ana Novoa, Professor and Associate Dean for Clinical Programs and Public Interest with St. Mary’s University School of Law’s Center for Legal and Social Justice. During her tenure at the Center for Legal and Social Justice, Ericka assisted indigent clients in the San Antonio community through a variety of outreach programs. Ericka was very excited to join Heard and Smith in 2009 and looks forward to continuing to serve claimants in San Antonio and surrounding areas with their Social Security Disability Claims.
Ericka is currently a member of the Mexican American Bar Association, the Women’s Law Association, the Bexar County Women’s Bar Association, and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives. She also served on the Board of Children’s Advocates of San Antonio (CASA) from 2006-2007 and remains committed to their cause.
